Work on your time

Build routines.
Axis keeps them running.

See every Routine on a familiar calendar. The rules stay explicit, and every run remains a real session you can inspect and steer.

Memory that compounds

Never repeat
yourself again.

Axis saves what matters, connects it to related context, then lights up the right memory when a future session needs it.

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about where Axis fits and how it works with the tools you already use.

What is an AI agent harness?

An agent harness is the environment around an AI agent: the projects, tools, context, permissions, and workflows it can use to do real work. Axis provides a persistent workspace for running and guiding those agents over time.

How is Axis different from Claude Code?

Claude Code is an AI coding agent. Axis is the persistent workspace and control layer around agents, so you can run Claude alongside Codex, OpenRouter models, local models, and other providers while keeping sessions, context, browsers, and evidence together.

How is Axis different from Hermes?

Hermes is an agent experience. Axis focuses on the workspace around agent runtimes: coordinating ongoing sessions, projects, tools, approvals, and outputs without tying your work to one agent or model.

Why use Axis instead of opening more terminals?

More terminals give you more processes, but not more continuity. Axis keeps each agent connected to its project, history, browser, files, plans, and next actions so parallel work stays understandable and recoverable.

Does Axis replace my model subscriptions?

No. Axis works with the providers and subscriptions you choose, including Claude, Codex, OpenRouter, and local models. It gives them one persistent workspace rather than replacing them.

Where does my work and data live?

Axis is local-first: your projects and workspace data stay on machines you control. Prompts and selected context are transmitted only to the model providers you configure when those models need them to complete your request.

How do the mobile companion apps work?

The iOS and Android companions pair with the installed Axis app on your Mac. They let you review and guide that existing workspace; they are not standalone Axis installations.

Can Axis help with work beyond coding?

Yes. Agents in Axis can support research, writing, planning, operations, browser workflows, recurring routines, and other tool-assisted work—not only software development.

Your work stays yours. Axis is built around your projects, your context, and your momentum.
