The short version

• Axis is yours to use, not to resell. You can run it on your own computer or on a dedicated Axis Cloud server we operate for you.
• Your content stays yours. We only use it to run the features you ask for.
• You supervise your agents. AI can be wrong and agents can take real actions, so review what matters and keep your own copies of anything critical.
• Axis Cloud is a monthly subscription. Cancel any time; your server runs until the end of the period you paid for, you get an export, and everything is deleted 14 days after the server stops.
• Use your server lawfully. No attacks, malware, spam, mining, or illegal content. We may suspend a server that puts others at risk.
• You are responsible for what you publish. Sites you publish must follow the same rules, and we can take down content that breaks them or the law.
• Teams and enterprise. When team sharing arrives, the subscription owner will be responsible for the people they add. Enterprise plans run under a separate written agreement.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Expressline LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. By creating an account, accepting these Terms, installing Axis, subscribing to Axis Cloud, or using Axis, you agree to them. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and authorized to bind any organization for which you use Axis.

"Axis" means the Axis software and apps, the Axis account and licensing service, and, if you subscribe, the Axis Cloud hosted service described in section 5. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

2. License

Subject to your account standing, payment obligations, and these Terms, Expressline LLC grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and use Axis, and to use Axis Cloud if you subscribe, for your internal purposes during an authorized subscription, trial, or grant. Axis is licensed, not sold.

3. Restrictions

• Do not copy, redistribute, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, publish, or commercially exploit Axis without written permission. This includes reselling access to an Axis Cloud server as a hosting service.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, derive source code from, or create derivative works of protected Axis software except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Do not bypass payment, licensing, authentication, entitlement, usage limits, remote deactivation, update, code-protection, or security controls, including Axis Edge sign-in checks.
• Do not probe, disrupt, overload, introduce malware into, or obtain unauthorized access to Axis services, accounts, systems, or other people’s devices or data.
• Do not use Axis unlawfully, fraudulently, abusively, to violate rights, or to conduct unauthorized surveillance or access.

4. Accounts, subscriptions, and billing

You are responsible for accurate account information and for activity under your account, your installations, and any Axis Cloud server you subscribe to. Keep your sign-in methods secure. Paid features require a valid subscription or grant. Prices, billing periods, taxes, renewals, trials, and cancellation terms are shown at purchase. Subscriptions renew until canceled. Except where a refund is required by law, charges are non-refundable. As a voluntary exception, Axis may refund an accidental renewal if you notify support@tryaxis.so within 24 hours of the renewal charge. Canceling stops future renewals and does not refund the current billing period. Billing may be handled by Polar or another disclosed provider under its own checkout terms.

5. Axis Cloud

5.1 What you get

An Axis Cloud subscription gives you a dedicated virtual server, operated by us on infrastructure from our hosting providers, with Axis installed and reachable at your own address under cloud.tryaxis.so through Axis Edge. Server resources (such as processor, memory, and storage) depend on your plan. We will tell you if your usage is outgrowing your plan and may recommend a larger one. Moving to a larger plan may briefly restart your server.

We keep Axis on your server up to date, back it up as described in the Privacy Policy, and may restart it for maintenance, security fixes, or provider work. We try to keep interruptions short, but unless you have a written enterprise agreement that says otherwise, Axis Cloud has no guaranteed uptime or service level.

5.2 Backups are a safety net, not a guarantee

Automatic backups help you recover from mistakes and failures, but they expire on a fixed schedule and can fail. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose, for example by using export or syncing projects to your own repositories.

5.3 Cancellation, failed payments, and data deletion

• If you cancel, your server keeps running until the end of the period you have paid for.
• If a payment fails, your server stops 48 hours after the first failed payment unless you pay in that time.
• If a payment is refunded, or your subscription is revoked (for example after a chargeback or for a breach of these Terms), your server stops right away, or within 48 hours at most while your export is being prepared.

When paid access ends we email you a link to download an export of your server. When the server stops, we keep a private snapshot of it for 14 days. If you resubscribe within those 14 days, we restore the same server. After 14 days, your server, its snapshot, its backups, and your export are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. It is your responsibility to download your export before then.

5.4 Our access to your server

You authorize us to operate your server: to provision, update, monitor, back up, restore, resize, power off, snapshot, and delete it as these Terms and the Privacy Policy describe. We access your content only as the Privacy Policy describes, such as when you ask for help, to recover your data, to investigate security incidents or serious breaches of these Terms, or when the law requires it.

6. Acceptable use of Axis Cloud servers

Your server is yours to use for your own work, but it runs on shared infrastructure and shared network addresses. You and anyone you give access to must not use it to:

• break the law, or store or share content that is illegal, including child sexual abuse material, or content that infringes others’ intellectual property or privacy;
• attack, scan, or try to break into other systems, or run denial-of-service attacks;
• distribute malware, operate botnets or command-and-control servers, or host phishing pages;
• send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or harvest personal information without permission;
• run open proxies, open relays, or anonymizing exit nodes for others;
• mine cryptocurrency, or otherwise consume resources in ways that harm our providers’ networks;
• do anything our hosting providers prohibit, or that would expose us or other customers to legal or security harm.

If we see a serious or ongoing violation, or a provider or authority reports one, we may restrict network access to, power off, or suspend the affected server, with notice where reasonably practical. Suspension for a violation follows the stop-and-delete timeline in section 5.3 unless the law requires us to preserve data longer.

7. Published sites

Axis lets you publish content as a website at an address under sites.tryaxis.so. Publishing requires a paid plan or an active trial, and sites stop being served when your paid access ends. When you publish:

• You are the publisher. You are solely responsible for what you publish, including text, images, files, code, and any information your site collects from visitors. You must have the rights to everything you publish and must comply with the laws that apply to it, including privacy, consumer protection, and intellectual property law.
• Acceptable use. Published sites must follow section 3 and must not contain or link to the content or activity prohibited in section 6. They also must not be used for phishing or for impersonating Axis, another person, or an organization; for distributing malware or deceptive downloads; for hate speech, harassment, or threats; for sexual content involving minors or non-consensual intimate imagery; for content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other rights; for unlawful sales or gambling; or for scraping or collecting personal information without a lawful basis.
• Not for confidential material. Public and unlisted sites can be seen by anyone with the link. Use a password for anything private, and remember that anyone you share the password with can share the content.
• License to host. You grant Expressline LLC the limited right to store, copy, cache, and serve your published content, through our providers, for as long as it is published and as needed to remove it.

Reports and takedown. Anyone can report a published site that they believe is unlawful, infringing, or in breach of these Terms by emailing contact@tryaxis.so with the site address and the reason. For copyright or trademark complaints, please identify the work, the material you want removed, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them. We may remove, disable, or password-protect a published site, limit publishing on an account, or suspend the account, with or without notice, when we believe content is unlawful, infringing, harmful to visitors, or in breach of these Terms, or when the law requires it. Where it is reasonably practical and lawful, we will tell the publisher and give them a chance to respond. If you believe we removed your content by mistake, reply to our notice or email contact@tryaxis.so. We may preserve removed content and related records where the law requires or to investigate abuse.

You can unpublish a site at any time. Unpublishing takes it offline right away, though cached copies may stay visible for a short time. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to the files afterwards.

8. Team accounts

Team sharing on Axis Cloud is not available yet. If you add team members once it is, each person must use their own Axis account and accept these Terms, and everyone with access to a server will generally be able to see and change the projects and files on it. The subscription owner will choose who has access, will be responsible for their use of the server and for removing access when it is no longer appropriate, and will own the subscription and the server’s data for billing and deletion purposes. If you use Axis on an organization’s server, that organization controls your access and the data you create there.

9. Enterprise

Enterprise plans, such as multiple servers in different regions that mirror and back up one another, custom limits, or service levels, are available by written agreement. Contact contact@tryaxis.so. If you sign an enterprise agreement or order form with us, it controls over these Terms where the two conflict.

10. Your content and data

You retain ownership of your content. You grant Expressline LLC only the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, back up, and restore it to provide the features you request. We do not use your content to train AI models. Content may be transmitted to AI providers, integrations, AI assistants, paired devices, or notification services that you configure or enable. You are responsible for deciding what content to send, for having the rights to the content you put on Axis, and for maintaining appropriate backups. If you run Axis yourself, you are responsible for that computer and its data.

11. Bring-your-own AI providers and credentials

Axis connects to AI providers and other services using accounts, subscriptions, API keys, tokens, OAuth grants, credentials, and configurations that you provide or authorize. On Axis Cloud these are stored on your server, and model requests go from your server directly to the provider. Expressline LLC does not provide, control, guarantee, insure, or assume responsibility for those third-party accounts or credentials.

You are solely responsible for provider access, credential security, permissions, usage limits, charges, rate limits, model availability, data handling, and compliance with each provider’s terms. You must promptly revoke or replace compromised credentials. Axis usage estimates are informational and may differ from provider invoices.

12. AI output and agent actions

AI models and agents may produce incorrect, incomplete, insecure, offensive, outdated, or harmful output. They may modify or delete files, execute commands, access connected services, communicate externally, incur charges, or otherwise take consequential actions when permitted.

You are solely responsible for supervising use, reviewing prompts and outputs, approving consequential actions, validating code and commands, maintaining backups, setting permissions and spending limits, and determining whether an action is lawful and appropriate. Agents running on an Axis Cloud server act on your behalf, and you are responsible for what they do. Expressline LLC does not control third-party AI models and is not responsible for their output, conduct, availability, token usage, provider charges, or your reliance on them. Axis is not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, security, safety, or other professional advice.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts, subscriptions, entitlements, installations, Axis Cloud servers, or service access for non-payment, chargebacks, fraud, security risk, unlawful use, violations of section 6 or 7, material breach, protection of users or systems, or legal requirements. We may remotely revoke or deactivate paid access. Where reasonably practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure; we may act immediately where delay creates risk. You may stop using Axis and cancel renewal at any time. When an Axis Cloud subscription ends for any reason, section 5.3 explains what happens to your server and data.

14. Updates and third-party services

Axis may install or require security, compatibility, entitlement, and product updates, and we update Axis on Axis Cloud servers for you. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued. Third-party AI providers, payment providers, hosting providers, integrations, open-source components, and other services are governed by their own terms. Expressline LLC is not responsible for third-party services, outputs, security, availability, pricing, or changes.

15. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AXIS, INCLUDING AXIS CLOUD AND ITS BACKUPS, IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” EXPRESSLINE LLC DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, SECURITY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS, SO SOME MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

16. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EXPRESSLINE LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, CREDENTIALS, TOKENS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, INCLUDING LOSSES CAUSED BY AI OUTPUT, AGENT ACTIONS, THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS, PROVIDER CHARGES, SERVER OUTAGES, FAILED OR EXPIRED BACKUPS, OR SECURITY INCIDENTS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO AXIS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID EXPRESSLINE LLC FOR AXIS DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Expressline LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and suppliers against third-party claims arising from your content, sites you publish, provider accounts or credentials, unlawful or prohibited use (including by people you give access to your server), agent actions you authorize, or breach of these Terms. This does not require indemnity for our own unlawful conduct.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Wyoming law and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Wyoming will have exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law requires another forum. Before filing a claim, each party will attempt in good faith for 30 days to resolve it by contacting contact@tryaxis.so.

19. General

If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective. Failure to enforce is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without written consent; we may assign them in connection with a restructuring or business transfer. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, applicable purchase terms, and any enterprise agreement are the entire agreement for Axis. We may update these Terms, and material updates may require renewed acceptance.
