Docs, Slides, apps and videos

Ask for a document, a deck, a brand system, an internal tool or a video, and Axis creates a real, editable thing in your Space, not a wall of text in a chat. You edit it, agents edit it, and both of you see each other’s changes live.

Structured validation rendered inside a real Axis session.

Real Axis UI with deliberately seeded, privacy-safe demonstration content.

Kind Use it for
Doc Briefs, proposals, SOPs, reports, team updates, meeting notes. Headings, tables, charts, checklists, comments and tabs.
Slides Decks and presentations, with speaker notes.
Design A designed page, mockup or artboard.
Design system Your brand’s colours, type and usage rules, so Docs, Slides and apps come out on brand.
App An internal tool that lives in a Space. See Apps.
Video review Watch a video, comment on exact frames, and let an agent revise it. See Video reviews.

Everything you create is filed in the Space of the chat that made it, and appears in the sidebar under its type.

  • Edit directly. Type, drag blocks, add tabs. Agents’ edits merge with what you are typing.
  • Ask in place. Every Doc has an Ask an agent bar. Ask for a rewrite, a chart or a new section and watch it appear.
  • Comment. Leave a comment on a block and an agent can reply, make the change and resolve it.
  • Reuse, don’t duplicate. Agents revise the Doc linked to a chat instead of creating a new copy.
  • Export. Ask an agent to export a Doc or Slides deck to PDF or HTML, or a deck to PowerPoint (.pptx). You get a download link.
  • Share as a live page. Docs and Slides have Share as site, which publishes a link anyone can open, with an optional password. Republishing keeps the same link. See Sites and sharing.
  • Real .docx, .xlsx or .pdf files can be produced as separate files when you need them.

A Space app is an internal tool that lives in a Space beside its chats and Docs: a client tracker, a team directory, an ops console, or a window into your own backend. It opens like any Doc and has its own agent chat beside it.

Shape What it is Where the data lives
Simple app An interface plus collections of records Stored by Axis on your server
Backend app The same, plus actions that call your systems Your backend, called through a Connection so the credential never reaches the app
Portal A window onto an app you already run, plus actions Your existing app

Every action an app declares can be used three ways: from the app’s interface, by people from the app’s Actions tab, and by agents. Writes land in the app’s Activity log with who made them: a person, an agent, or the app itself. Just ask: “Build a client tracker app in this Space with a status column and a weekly follow-up action.”

An agent renders a video and opens it as a video review. You watch, pause and leave comments at exact frames, optionally pinned to a spot in the picture. The agent reads your comments, re-renders only the parts you flagged, adds the result as the next version, and replies on each comment.
